YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE PROFIT WITH THESE FILES. Introduction / History : ------------------------ Well, this music really means a lot of nostalgy to me. I first heard it on my Atari ST, back in the old 1987 golden days, and it was really great. Airball was then adapted on Amiga in 1989, and since the music was still very good, I decided to adapt it as a custom module. The original replay was by Paul Hunter and the musics by Paul Shields. This game recalls me of a really great time. It definitly showed the huge gap between the 8 bit computers (which had a lot of game of this kind) and the 16/32 bit computers. The gfx by Pete Lyon were astonishing, the gameplay was superb, and the music was just wonderful. So, if you still have this game, why not loading it now ? Otherwise, just close your eyes, and try to remember... Good games never die !! Replay code : ------------- The replay code is roughly the same as the original one ; I've just added support for Delitracker/Eagleplayer functions. It was tested on an Amiga 500 + more mem + HD, and worked fine with EaglePlayer 1.54c and DeliTracker 2.21. The Audio IRQ has been replaced by a pause of approx 8 raster lines, which should give good results on any machine. Sources are provided, if you want to see how to adapt custom modules (compiled with Devpac, but should work on any asm after removing Devpac specific directives). To compile the source, you will need the file 'misc/deliplayer.i' and 'misc/eagleplayer.i' in your standard 'include:' path. You will also have to change the 'incbin' paths in the source, or to create a 'b:' assign. By the way, comments are half english, half french, so this might be a good opportunity to learn a few words of french :-) Note that the analyzer support is not as perfect as possible, because the replay changed the Audio Per every VBL, which interfered with the way UserPrograms work under EaglePlayer (the UPS structure need some improvements).
